Details

The Eltermere is situated in the glorious setting of the Langdale valley famous for its pikes. It offers excellent door to door walking and cycling. We have uniterrupted views over Eltermere lake. Each room is individual, most have views. We have 2 dining areas, the restaurant and the bar. Two beautifully decorated sitting rooms overlooking the lake. We are open all day for food.

Exit at jct 36 of M6. Take A590 signposted Kendal, continue on A591 signposted Windermere/Ambleside. At Ambleside take A593 Coniston/Langdales.
After 2 miles turn right at Skelwith Bridge on the B5343 for another 2 miles, cross over the cattle grid, slow down and marvel at the Langdale Pikes, turn left into Elterwater village.
Continue through the village and the Eltermere is on the left and enjoy the welcome.

By rail to Oxenholme, then Windermere.
