So whether you choose to walk, sail or just sit on the balcony taking in the stunning scenery across Waterhead Bay to the Langdale and Furness fells beyond, Romney 17 makes an outstanding choice of holiday destination.

Accommodation: Entry to this second-floor apartment is by either passenger lift or stairs. Spacious hallway where there is a useful utility cupboard with coat hanging space. The light, airy and comfortable lounge has modern furniture and a contemporary electric fire. In addition there is a widescreen TV with Sky + basic package, DVD, CD/iPod dock and free wi-fi. Patio doors lead onto the balcony with a small table and seating, providing the perfect setting for taking in the breathtaking views. Attractive, alcoved dining area, again offering picture postcard views. Master bedroom with king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and en-suite facilities (shower, hand basin, wc). Large twin bedded room with built-in furniture and TV. Bathroom has bath with shower over, hand basin and wc.

Romney 17 is tastefully and comfortably furnished with fitted carpets throughout. Its unrivalled yet central location makes it an ideal holiday base at any time of the year.

Outside: Shared landscaped grounds on a hillside with steps, pathways and wonderful views. Private undercover parking in numbered parking space for one car although some additional parking is available on an ad-hoc basis. Ambleside village half a mile and lake shore and cruises 50 yards.
