Beech Cottage enjoys an enviable location in the tiny hamlet of Skelwith Bridge - the gateway to the fabulous Great Langdale Valley - and with so many fine walks to do in the immediate area your days can be full of activity. The Cumbria Way passes close to the cottage and you are a short stroll from the ever popular Chesters-by-the-River and also the Skelwith Bridge Hotel. The high tops of Silver How and Loughrigg Fell are accessible straight from the door and for serious walkers you are a short car or local bus ride from the head of Great Langdale from where you can access all the Central Fells. Don't miss the beautiful riverside ramble along the shores of The River Brathay to Elterwater and linger over lunch at the famous Britannia Inn; or wander along country lanes towards the Drunken Duck Inn about two miles in each direction.

The owners have lavished care and attention to create a delightful holiday home with every comfort and facility.

Accommodation: On entering the property through the quaint front door you walk immediately into the comfortable and welcoming lounge (TV, Wi-Fi, Sonos, Log burner). From the lounge enter the spacious dining room with open kitchen and separate utility room, also access to the rear of the property.
Upstairs the house splits two ways, to the left up three steps is a front king bedroom and to the rear a twin. To the right up three steps another king with en-suite (shower, WC and basin) and a family bathroom (Bath, WC and basin).

Outside. Plenty of outside space, a large front garden and a patio leading from the lounge with garden furniture for outside living. Bike storage in the shed and private parking for two cars on the drive to the side of the properly. A hot tub is available for use at an extra charge of £150 per week. Please enquire.
