Church Corner is a spacious Lakeland cottage which has been completely refurbished to a high standard offering all the comforts of home with a stylish modern interior and excellent facilities. Located right on the edge of Patterdale village, the shop and pub are only a few minutes level walk, the property has open aspects across the neighbouring fields with glimpses of the lake beyond.

Nearby Ullswater Lake can offer activities such as lake cruises across to Howtown, and boat hire, and there is an abundance of walking to be enjoyed from the door including some easy valley rambles or for the more adventurous Striding Edge leading to Helvellyn.

Accommodation: Wide entrance hallway with doors leading off to lounge, kitchen/diner and downstairs bedroom. Lounge is light and airy with large bay window looking out across fields (flat screen TV with Sky family package, DVD player and free wi-fi), and is furnished in a neutral contemporary style. Door from lounge leads through to sun room with comfy seating, feature fireplace with log burning stove and a wall of windows to enjoy more lovely views - ideal for viewing the local wildlife with the telescope provided.

The modern kitchen diner is spacious with quality appliances and dining for six. The neat downstairs double has en-suite with large shower, basin and wc - ideal for older relatives or the less mobile.

Stairs from the hallway lead to two further bedrooms and family bathroom all having shaped rooflines and beams - a large master bedroom with king-size bed and views, and a small single. Modern fully tiled bathroom with bath, basin and wc.

Oil fired central heating and hot water. Solid flooring in reception rooms and bathrooms, and fitted carpets to bedrooms. Quality contemporary furnishings throughout with neutral decor and co-ordinating fabrics.

Outside: Seating area to the front of the property - ideally placed to take in the surrounding countryside and glimpses of the lake. Parking for two cars in the driveway to the front of the property. A few minutes walk to village shop and pub
