This light and spacious holiday home will attract anyone looking for a really comfortable base from which to explore the Lake District - just right for relaxing, touring or making the most of the fine walking and outdoor activities in the true heart of the lakes. Set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac Glendale has been refurbished throughout and offers ideal accommodation for a family or a number of couples wishing to stay together.

There is so much to do in the area that you may never need to use the car on a daily basis; lake cruises, boat hire, cycling, hill and mountain walking, bowls, tennis, mini-golf and interesting local shops will keep you happy during the day, whilst the choice of restaurants, pubs and excellent multi-screen cinema will complete the scene in the evenings.

Accommodation: Front door entrance into the hallway with ample room for boot and coat storage (downstairs wc). The spacious sitting/dining room has windows at each end and a wide open hatch through to the fully fitted kitchen (Sky TV with Freeview channels, DVD, mini hi-fi, living flame gas fire). Beyond the kitchen is a useful separate breakfast room with a door to the rear garden, and a link door into the rear of the garage where the laundry facilities and freezer are kept.

Upstairs the four good bedrooms are as follows - a large twin room with sloping ceiling at one end and views to the fells; king sized double en-suite (shower, basin and wc) also with views to the fells; a further king sized double to the front of the house and a generous single room - both these rooms with pleasant outlooks. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and wc.

The house is decorated with fitted carpets throughout and gas central heating. Furnishings in modern style.

Outside: Gardens to front and rear - the back garden is enclosed with lawn and room to sit outside. Parking for two cars in the drive - room for one in the garage. Bike storage in the garage. Village centre or Lake Windermere less than half a mile.
