Well located in Ambleside this comfortable second floor apartment will suit those looking for a central but quiet spot for a holiday at any time of the year. Loughrigg View forms part of a carefully presented former 'gentleman's residence' in a quiet residential area a short level walk from the village centre.

There is hardly any need to use the car - with walks from the door including the Rydal Round, Loughrigg Fell, Wansfell and Fairfield. Ambleside has quality shops, pubs and ample places to eat out.

Loughrigg View has good views from the front windows, beyond neighbouring properties to the Fairfield Horseshoe in the north and across the park to Loughrigg Fell in the west.

A cruise on Lake Windermere is not to be missed and for those who wish to tour the area you will find Ambleside well placed for visits to all parts of the Lake District.

Accommodation: Front door entrance reached by internal carpeted staircase. Hallway with built-in cupboard for hanging your outdoor gear. The attractive sitting/dining room has a bay window with lovely views (flat screen 32 inch TV with Sky + HD entertainment package, DVD, video, CD/radio and free wi-fi). Doorway through to fitted kitchen.

There are two bedrooms - a good sized twin and a smaller double - both rooms have built-in wardrobes and clock/radio (one with iPod docking station). The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and wc. Furnishings throughout are comfortable with neutral colour schemes accented with co-ordinated fabrics. Fitted carpets.

Outside: Private parking for one car within the grounds. Shops and village centre amenities 300 yards level walk.
