Milestones sits on an enviable corner site in a quiet and popular residential area on the edge of Ambleside. Guests will enjoy the location for its delightful outlooks and with so much to do in the area everyone will be kept busy without the daily need to use the car. Both Ambleside village centre and the head of Lake Windermere are within easy downhill walking distance.

Walks to be enjoyed from the door include Wansfell and Jenkins Crag, Todd Crag and Loughrigg Fell. The Fairfield Horseshoe would make for a challenging day on the high tops whilst you may just simply enjoy a cruise down the lake or a boat hire from the jetty at Waterhead. With plenty of places to eat out and good local shops, tennis, bowls, mountain bike hire and multi screen cinema, Ambleside offers everything to the Lake District holiday maker.

Accommodation: Steps lead up to the front door which opens into an enclosed porch with hanging space for outdoor gear. Door to inner hallway. Galley style kitchen leads through to the dining area which forms part of the open plan L-shaped living room. Sitting area (fireplace with gas fire, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/tuner hi-fi and Wi-Fi). Sliding patio door opening onto the balcony.

There are three bedrooms off the hallway - a double, a twin and a single room (with 4ft bed), and two bathrooms - one with bath, basin and wc and one with corner shower, basin and wc.

The property has a light and sunny feel with fitted carpets throughout, comfortable furnishings and is ideal for holidays in any season. There are pleasant outlooks from all main windows with more distant views from the dining and lounge areas.

Outside: Space to park one car in the garage and ample parking in the drive for two cars. Garage for laundry facilities and bike storage. Garden areas around the house are mostly of shrubs, steps and pathways with hedges along the side and open access into the front and rear drives. Ambleside village and lake approx half a mile.
