For those of you wanting a central getaway, this is the apartment for you. The location is quiet yet all the village amenities are only a short level stroll away.

With so many walks to do in the area, just leave the car for the duration and enjoy Wansfell, Loughrigg and many more. The choice of local restaurants will be most attractive to those who wish to eat out in the evenings. There are two good local cinemas which show all the latest films and a good bowling green and tennis courts just a few minutes walk away. Coffee shops and outdoor shops galore, with Lake Windermere a 15 minute stroll. Oakmere has many homely touches, creating a warm and welcoming, relaxing stay.

Accommodation: The accommodation is all on first floor level being part of an addition to a Lakeland house. A few steps at the main front door lead into a carpeted main entrance hall from where 2 sets of stairs lead you to the apartment. There is a hallway with shelving for your outdoor boots. Good sized sitting/dining room (flat screen TV, Freeview, DVD, Wi-Fi, CD player). A newly modern fitted kitchen, creates an ideal place to cook your evening meal, while socialising.

A king bedroom with built-in wardrobe. Oak furnitiure throughout the property hense the name Oakmere. A twin bedrom with 2ft 6 beds, wardrobe to the rear of the property. Bathroom with shower over bath, basin and wc. The property is very comfortable with fitted carpets throughout and gas central heating.

Outside: There are shared gardens around the building which also offer views to the Fairfield Horseshoe. Parking for one car in a named space within the grounds. Ambleside shops and village centre 300 yards.
