St John's House is an end of terrace Grade II listed Georgian town house, which provides a perfect venue for anyone looking for high quality accommodation in the heart of Keswick. Situated a stone's throw to the town centre, this charming property is welcoming and comfortable though retains many period features. Keswick is a popular Lake District town set amidst spectacular mountain scenery, and although a paradise for walkers and cyclists, it has a range of activities to keep everyone occupied with shops, art galleries, parks and lake cruises. Evenings can be spent at the Theatre by the Lake, the cinema or in one of the many local pubs and restaurants.

Accommodation: Built on three floors this tasteful Georgian style property has been newly prepared with every thought for your holiday comfort. Enter through the back door into the dining/kitchen with recently fitted units and appliances. The hallway leads to the front door, a utility room and the downstairs lounge, which has two comfy sofas, LCD TV with Freeview, DVD and open fire. The galleried staircase leads to the first floor and the main sitting room with attractive windows to the front of the property, 40" LCD TV with Freesat, DVD, I-pod dock, books and films, Wi-Fi and log burning stove. Double bedroom (king-sized bed) and family bathroom (shower over the bath, basin and WC). On the top floor there is another king-double room and a larger room with zip & link beds (can be a twin or a super king - please order at the time of booking) and a vanity basin. Separate shower room with basin and WC.

Furnishings throughout are stylish and comfortable with Farrow and Ball colours, fitted carpets and good quality fabrics, with lots of little extras making this a real home- from -home. There are fine mountain views from the upper windows taking in Skiddaw to the north and the Borrowdale fells to the south.

Outside: Parking for two cars neatly parked behind the property. A pretty courtyard garden makes a quiet place to enjoy an outdoor meal or glass of wine and there is a very useful outbuilding with safe storage for bikes and for keeping your outdoor gear. Keswick town centre 200yds.
