Perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year, Tethera is a stylish, ground floor apartment with no steps to negotiate. It is part of Fieldside Grange, a superb large, slate building which is now a number of individual apartments. The house stands on a hillside above Keswick with beautiful views towards Cat Bells, Causey Pike and other surrounding fells.

Accessed by a private driveway, it sits within its own grounds of about 2 acres and yet is only one and a half miles from the centre of the town with its excellent selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a cinema, museums and the award winning Theatre by the Lake.

Nearby is Derwentwater with its launches and rowboats, osprey watching (in season) on Bassenthwaite, an 18 hole golf course (visitors welcome) and, of course, beautiful walks to suit all capabilities, from strolls in the parks, to lakeside paths, to mountain tops.

Accommodation: The front door to Tethera is accessed through a communal entrance hall. A useful, small utility/boiler room sits opposite some handily placed coat hooks. An L-shaped room is divided into distinct kitchen, dining and living areas. The fully equipped kitchen space has granite worktops, lots of cupboards and ample work-surfaces. The dining area has patio doors with views to Cat Bells and surrounding fells whilst the comfortably furnished living area has TV with Sky+, DVD, iPod docking, free Wi-Fi broadband, DAB radio, CD player and a feature electric fire.

The bathroom has bath, separate shower cubicle, washbasin and wc. The two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with twin beds, have beamed ceilings. A door, at the far end of the hall, leads directly to the outside.

Carefully chosen, contemporary furnishings with fitted carpets in all rooms apart from the kitchen, bathroom and utility room, give a light and airy feel.

Outside: Private patio with garden furniture and adjacent small grassed area. Extensive communal grounds. Two designated car parking spaces a short distance from the communal front door. Pub 1 mile, Keswick centre 1.5 miles.
