Wansfell is a modern ground floor apartment, stylishly decorated and furnished to a very high standard, in the imposing building which was previously the Borrans Park Hotel. It is located up a private drive in a peaceful position, surrounded by fields with views of the Lakeland fells. It is a level half mile walk to both Ambleside village centre or Waterhead at the head of Lake Windermere.

There are plenty of walks from the door including Todd Crag and the Fairfield Horseshoe, along with cruises on the lake, visits to the cinema, tennis and mini golf. A variety of pubs and quality restaurants are all within walking distance.

Accommodation: Private entrance into a large dining area that has an oak dining table and four chairs, radio/CD player with MP3/iPod interface, free wi-fi broadband and payphone. Adjacent to the dining area is an open plan modern fitted kitchen with tiled floor.

The lounge is spacious and bright, with a wall mounted electric living flame fire. There is a 42 inch LCD TV, DVD player and Xbox 2. Double patio doors lead out on to a large private patio area with dining furniture and benches. The patio is south facing and overlooks fields and fells. There is a separate wc with hand basin and tiled floor.

The main bedroom has a luxurious feel with a king size oak bed and walk-in wardrobe and a wall mounted 19 inch LCD TV. The luxury en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and has a contemporary design which includes a large cubical power shower, wc and basin.

The zip-link bed in the second bedroom can be either a super king size or two singles (please order at time of booking). The luxury fully tiled en-suite bathroom also has a contemporary style and includes a wc, basin, bath with a power shower over the bath.

Both bedrooms have an ipod dock with radio alarm and hairdryers.

The apartment has fitted carpets throughout, with tiled floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is furnished to a very high standard with locally purchased solid oak furniture and co-ordinating colours. It has double glazing, central heating and all fuel is included in the price.

Wansfell offers a relaxing comfortable holiday environment, a real home from home.

Outside: Parking for two cars in designated spaces. Private patio area includes a table and four chairs for outside dining and two benches for relaxing and watching the sun go down after a hard day on the fells. Shared land around the building is neat and planted with shrubs overlooking fields. Ambleside village centre half a mile. Lake shore and cruises half a mile.
